Humble Beginning
Aurolab, established in 1992 with the mission of “Eliminating needless blindness by making high quality ophthalmic products, affordable and accessible to vision impaired worldwide”. Aurolab was the First Indian IOL manufacturer to get ISO: 9001 for process quality and First Indian IOL manufacturer to get CE (Conformite Europeenne) a mandatory conformance mark certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health or environmental requirements for product quality. With a firm foothold in the IOL manufacturing, Aurolab diversified into the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, cardiovascular sutures, microsurgical hand sutures, surgical blades, surgical and diagnostic equipments, antiseptics and disinfectant solutions.
Our Legacy
With three decades of experience in manufacturing a vast range of products for different verticals in ophthalmology, Aurolab has established specialised facilities and capabilities, for Micro machining, Micro suture manufacturing, Silicon molding, Metals based manufacturing, Polymer manufacturing, Optics designing, Wet-lab analysis, and Instrumentation, conforming to USFDA, EU – GMP, WHO – GMP, Indian Schedule “M” Standards. Our products are exported to more than 150 countries worldwide.
Every 15 seconds, somewhere in the world, an Aurolab IOL is implanted. Aurolab has invested in and adopted new technologies to develop products addressing emerging needs.
Our long standing relationship with customers and partners stands testimony to our ethical and transparent business practice. Through innovation, we plan to go beyond just product delivery, to offer solutions to customers by way of kits, packaging, sharing resources etc.
